Well, let's see.... where should we start?
Ryan and I met when we were sophomores in high school. I asked him out our Jr. year. After the second invitation, he finally said yes. We went to the symphony and out for ice cream. He FINALLY held my hand on the way home. We've been together almost every day since - minus his two year mission for our church (Virginia & Houston, TX).
We were married in 1994 on a FA-REEZING, cold, December day. Ryan graduated with a degree in computer science and also has his MBA. Three years after we were married, we welcomed our first little munchkin, Alexis Faith, to our home. Three must be our magic number, because every three years after that, a new little one would arrive at our home; Jackson Ryan, Collin Ryan, and Isabella Emma.
Every person in our family adds depth and breadth. Each person is unique and brings us so much joy. One person who adds a little extra somethin', somethin' to our family is Jackson. Jackson has a rare chromosome duplication in the Williams Syndrome Region. It is called 7q11.23 Duplication. Currently we only know of about 50 other people in USA with this duplication. Much of our time and energy is spent helping our children to achieve their goals, and helping Jackson to progress in his life.
Ryan enjoys sports and technology and all it entails - video games, gadgets, and the latest techy system. Jennie stays busy being the CEO of our home, advocating for Jackson, blogging, reading, and staying in touch with friends. Alexis is a beautiful dancer, artist, fashionista, and is learning to play the violin. Jackson loves to play in his tree fort and is a video game geru. Jackson works hard to achieve every success and milestone in his life. Collin likes action figures, playing DS, getting together with friends, and is learning French. Isabella has us all wrapped around her little finger. She loves anything her big sister loves, in addition to babies, Littlest Pet Shop, and her cat, Mrs. Fox.
Thanks for stopping by our little part of the blogsphere. We hope you'll return soon.
